This Privacy Policy explains how PermitPilot collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Service.
What we collect
- Account data: name, email, business name, phone number.
- Business data: locations, permits, certifications, expiration dates, and documents you upload.
- Usage data: log-ins, feature usage, IP address, and browser metadata for security and analytics.
How we use it
- To provide the Service — store, display, and remind you about your compliance data.
- To send transactional email and SMS reminders.
- To maintain account security and prevent abuse.
- To send service announcements (you can disable marketing email in settings).
Who we share it with
We share data only with processors required to run the Service:
- Hosting and database infrastructure (Lovable Cloud / Supabase)
- Email delivery (Brevo)
- Payment processing (Stripe / Paddle, when applicable)
We never sell your personal data.
Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing hello@permitpilot.app. Backups are purged within 30 days of deletion.
Your rights
Subject to your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email hello@permitpilot.app to exercise these rights.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is governed by role-based permissions and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure — report vulnerabilities to security@permitpilot.app.
Children
The Service is not intended for individuals under 18.
